Blog 7: Music

Hello!
Welcome to my new Post, this time I have to talk about a subject that fascinates me a lot, the Music.

I like many musical genres, including classical music, baroque music, neoclassical metal, symphonic metal, folk metal, celtic metal, celtic music, j-pop, rock, pop rock, country, blues, r&b, tango, flamenco, ballads and others, the only thing I can rule out is Reggaeton and Trap (although there is a possibility that there are some songs from these genres that I do like). But what I like best is when the styles are mixed to generate a new style, which could not be accurately labeled in any category. What I like about music in general and the styles I listen to most often, is the harmonic, melodic and rhythmic complexity. Also, for music with lyrics, I like the complexity of vocal techniques, the registers they can reach, and the content of the lyrics (some look like poems), plus I find it wonderful when artists put passion and talent into their songs.

I don't have a favourite singer or band, it would be very difficult for me to choose one. Usually there are bands I listen to for a few seasons and then change bands and even style. But I want to mention a little bit about a symphonic and neoclassic metal band "Vivladi Metal Project" because this project really fascinates me.

This project was created by Mistheria, an Italian keyboardist and composer. In the 2013 year began bringing together many symphonic metal and classical musicians to perform versions of works by the Baroque composer Vivaldi. In their first album released in 2016 "The Four Seasons" they brought together more than 130 artists from different countries. This album corresponds to adaptations of pieces from Vivaldi's four seasons in a metal symphonic opera. The result was very beautiful :D.

In 2018 they published a new album "The Extended Session" in which they extend their previous album making the songs more acoustic, this album was created with the adaptations of the original songs they presented in "Kitee International Music And Art Festival".
